We're Chandra and Tayler. (CAT)
TAYLER:
A bonefied ideas man. A down to earth, say it like it is human who takes pride in things that she identifies with. Meyeres briggs: INTJ. Earth sign: Taurus. She enjoys painting, weaving, making eggs, dancing and idea-sharing. She dreams of living in a house with a wrap around porch, the city in her front yard and a farm with sheep in the back. A modern Suzie home-maker, entrepreneur, and feminist to the max. At only 22, she's still wondering aimlessly about trying to figure out how to make her life important and the best it can be.
She grew up with 3 younger siblings in a low-middle income family. Her dad is an entrepreneurial construction worker, her mom was a stay at home mom. She never went to the same feeder schools in Portland and grew accustomed to adversity, having to work harder than her peers both intellectually and socially to feel like she fit in.
High school came and went and Oregon State University welcomed her with open arms. With a shitty freshman year, trying to overcome the depression that consumed her in the later years of high school. She bloomed and blossomed the year next and found her inner happiness and learned to welcome new people and lovers. One of them being Chandra Magnuson, herself.
Tayler moved back to her hometown Portland, Or after being offered a full time job as a marketing manager after graduation. Working for a small apparel company, she is getting re-introduced to the magic of a city that's grown immensely in the four years she was away.
CHANDRA:
A country girl at heart who struggled to find her way into the realm of creativity and fashion. With an extensive background in FFA and showing livestock, where a competitive work ethic was learned at a young age. She entered Oregon State University as a General Agriculture major hoping to be an FFA instructor herself one day but found herself increasingly depressed, with a terrible GPA after just one term. She decided to make a change to the School of Design and Human Environment to pursue something more fulfilling creatively— despite her parents best wishes.
Chandra is a Taurus, cat lover, and older sister to one crazy awesome red head. She grew up in a small town in Eastern Oregon with 17,000 residents. Hard work and determination were instilled upon her at a young age by a charismatic father who instilled the mindset that anything was possible if you were convincing enough and worked hard enough. She gives her parents complete and utter credit for her painstakingly determined attitude to succeed.
Summer of 2013 she uprooted from Oregon and moved to New York City with miss Tayler to full fill the fashion girl dream. A dream she didn't realize she had until 2011. The experience led her to move straight to NYC after graduation in 2014, where she currently resides now.

The procrastinating hours in college were always spent together. With over 500,000 facebook messages to prove it, all Chandra and Tayler ever did was brainstorm business partnerships and ideas. Now living across the country from one another, conversation is a bit more sparse, but always the same. Deciding to take on this site together was an easy decision for them. As very similar individuals when it comes to mindset and interests, this blog is intended to help them support each other to reach their goals.

C/\T PERSPECTIVES was born to document the purchasing patterns of our transitional years in our early 20's. Struggling just as much, if not more than our peers. We intend to be completely unapologetic honest about our struggles, successes, failures and everything in between. We hope you join us on our journey.
